Description
One of the last Yiddish documentary films ever made, Horizons of Hope, made in 1954 for Pioneer Women, now known as Na'amat USA, shows this organization's charitable projects in the early days of Israel.
Another unique attribute of this film is that it was filmed in beautiful color with no subtitles. Nevertheless, this doesn't detract from the film because the viewer will easily figure out what it's all about by watching and listening to the mellifluous Yiddish spoken by the narrator.
