A Guide to the More Common Hebraic Words in Yiddish/Dictionary by Steven Jacobson
Beginning readers of Yiddish are often disconcerted by the Hebrew words they encounter in Yiddish texts. These present themselves as tongue-twisting consonant clusters in the midst of the straight-forward phonetic Yiddish orthography, since they are written without vowel points as in a Torah scroll or in standard Hebrew prose.
Steven Jacobson's A Guide to the More Common Hebraic Words in Yiddish has resolved much of this confusion.
